Summary
- God created us to live close to Him. We were made for a personal relationship with our Creator.
- Sin broke that relationship. Yet God gave everything to bring us back to Himself through Jesus.
- We often become so busy with life’s struggles that we forget where we truly belong.
- This world is not our home. As God’s children, we are looking forward to something far better.
- One day Jesus will return in glory. Every eye will see Him. The dead in Christ will rise. God’s faithful people will be gathered to Him.
- The greatest joy of that day will be seeing Jesus face-to-face.
- We have read about Him in Scripture. We have spoken to Him in prayer. We have trusted Him without seeing Him. Then faith will become sight.
- In that moment, every struggle, every sacrifice, every prayer, and every act of faithfulness will be worth it.
- God’s promises never fail. The Jesus who died for us is coming back for us.
- Until that day, we are called to remain faithful, keep our eyes on Him, and live in the hope of His soon return.
Question
- What hope should shape our lives every day?
Answer
- The hope that Jesus is coming soon and that one day we will see Him face-to-face.
Reflection
- If Jesus appeared today, would I be ready and excited to meet Him?
Takeaway
- Keep your eyes on Jesus. The trials of today are temporary, but the joy of seeing Him face-to-face will last forever.
