September 27: Sunday — Communication in Eden

God created human beings in His image to live in communion with Him.
He also made us for relationship with one another, saying, “It is not good that man should be alone.”
Adam and Eve listened to God, learned from Him, and enjoyed open communion with Him.
The Sabbath gave them a special time to rest and enjoy their Creator’s presence.
Sin changed everything, and Adam hid from God in fear.
Yet God still came looking for him and asked, “Where are you?”
That question was not about location but about relationship.
Even after sin, God kept seeking communication with humanity, and in Jesus He came to seek and save the lost.
Creation still points us to the good Creator and awakens a desire to know Him more deeply.

The story of communication in Eden shows that God created humanity for a close relationship with Him.
Adam and Eve could listen to God, learn from Him, enjoy His presence, and live in communion with their Creator.
Even after sin changed their relationship with God, He continued to seek them.
God’s question, “Where are you?” reminds us that His desire was not simply to find Adam’s physical location, but to restore communication and relationship with humanity.

What does Eden teach us about the relationship God wants to have with us?

God wants us to know Him, hear His Word, enjoy His presence, and walk with Him.

Am I making room in my life to hear God and enjoy His presence?

God created you for communion with Him. Let His Word and creation draw you closer to your Creator.
