• The Cross meant different things to different people. Many rejected it because they did not understand God’s plan.
• The Jews wanted a powerful King. The Greeks wanted human wisdom. Jesus gave them a crucified Saviour.
• Paul knew many people would reject this message. Yet he never stopped preaching Christ and Him crucified.
